This is a long overdue announcement as I joined Pivotal Labs in 2006, after I left Nominum. But we are trying to raise our profile recently as we no longer want to be “the best kept secret in software.” (This is a quote from more than one client.)
Anyway, check out the following links. (In particular, note my personal Pivotal Labs blog as I plan to blog mostly there.)

While this is somewhat of a “me, too” or a “+1” post, I feel compelled to write it. Stephen Colbert, of Comedy Centrals’s the Daily Show and the Colbert Report recently was one of the speakers at the White House Corresponence Dinner this past Saturday.
It was one of the most brilliant moments in television I have ever seen in my entire life. Here is a snippet of the many things Colbert had to say:
“When the president decides something on Monday, he still believes it on Wednesday — no matter what happened Tuesday.”
If you haven’t seen it yet, you can view the three parts here:

Beyond any opinion I have of White House policy, I am most frustrated by the condescending, bullying manner in which they engage any dialogue about their actions. I can only hope as many people as possible see Colbert’s lampoon. It is painful at times, but as the cliche goes, the truth often is.
